More than 20 years ago, an effective innovation system was proposed to the Academy of Science of the Dominican Republic without apparent success. The proponent has found out that unknowingly he was carrying the plan with his students and himself. We are sure that in the power, computers, and telecommunication sectors there are trained individuals that are prepared to innovate in the electricity business. However, the field is still very uneven, and needs to be flattened to make the Dominican Republic competitive. Let’s promote the retail marketing electricity cluster.

Hace más de 20 años, se propuso a la Academia de Ciencias de la República Dominicana un sistema eficaz de innovación sin éxito aparente. El proponente ha encontrado que sin saberlo estaba llevando a cabo el plan con sus estudiantes y él mismo. Estamos seguros que en los sectores de potencia, computadoras y telecomunicaciones hay individuos preparados para innovar en el negocio eléctrico.
